At Caldero Chiropractic, we believe in being transparent about how we handle insurance and payment.

WE DO NOT BILL INSURANCE COMPANIES DIRECTLY.

After a trial period as an “in-network” provider, we found that reimbursements were extremely low (as little as $14–$26 per visit) and required countless hours of paperwork, appeals, and billing costs. This took time and energy away from what matters most—caring for our patients.

From our experience, the traditional medical model works best for acute care (consultations, prescriptions, physical therapy, or surgery) but does not adequately support chronic care and natural healing. Chiropractic and advanced therapies often fall outside what insurance companies are willing to cover.

1. Insurance (PPO Patients)

• Only chiropractic care is typically recognized as a covered service by most PPO insurance plans.
• If you receive chiropractic care in our office, we can provide you with a paid statement called a Superbill to submit directly to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
• Additional therapies (such as Spinal Decompression, Shockwave, Class IV Laser, PEMF, Red Light Therapy, Hako-Med, or Neuropathy Care) are not covered by insurance.
• Many patients find that submitting a Superbill themselves results in faster and sometimes higher reimbursement compared to provider billing.

Our Office Fee for Chiropractic Care:

• $75 per visit (CPT Code 98940)
• Every visit is provided personally by Dr. Caldero, ensuring one-on-one, personalized care.

2. Self-Pay & Packages

We understand the importance of keeping care accessible and affordable. That’s why we offer flexible self-pay options:

• Pay Per Visit – Simply pay at each appointment.
• Pre-Paid Treatment Packages – Bundled visits at a reduced rate, helping you save money and stay consistent with your treatment plan.
